Client Testimonials

"I don't know where to begin! I would recommend this company to anyone with dogs! We spoiled our dogs so much from day one that they ran our household. They jumped all over us, bit us (playful bites but they still hurt), jumped all over our furniture and chewed up anything in sight. We could never have people over to our house because our dogs would jump all over them and it was so embarrassing.

Not saying that they are perfect angels now, we are still working, but they are so much better already and we are still working with them. We are just so happy that they are fun to be around now and that other people are able to enjoy them as much as we do!"

"I found Stacy through her website a couple of years ago and liked what I read about her so we set up some training for my dog Bear - a German Shepherd/Bernese Mountain Dog. Stacy came to my house, met with me and began working with Bear and I. I was amazed at how fast he caught on and responded to her techniques. After several sessions with Stacy, I learned so much valuable information that I was able to easily use to help my Bear become the best that he could be.

Later Bear and I were able to attend some of the group training sessions that helped reinforce the training we had already begun and learn more. It was great! I received many compliments on Bear's behavior. People make comments such as, "That is one well trained Dog!" With Stacy's help, Bear earned his CGC. Stacy and Anne have a true passion for what they do. It isn't always about training the dog, but educating the dog parent(s) too and their love and dedication to helping dogs realize their full potential is evident right from the very start."

"We Stacy! She taught our parents how to teach us to sit, lay down, come and other cool stuff! We like to show off for her and will roll over for treats when she comes over. We are so happy about all of the neat tips that she gave our parents on feeding since now we get to eat yogurt/fruit/peanut butter/other yummy stuff out of our Kongs. We can't wait to go to a group class sometime soon so we can practice everything we've learned around other furry friends.  Thanks Stacy!"

"Before meeting Stacy, we were so worried that our little Bull Terrier, Bailey was un-trainable...she was totally wild and we were running around behind her all the time in fear of what she might do next.  She completely ignored us no matter what we did.  If we did manage get her attention, she would snap at our faces and/or jump all over us.  I even began to think she might be deaf.

We had read a lot of literature about Bull Terriers and it seemed that everything said they were difficult to train and were sometimes deaf.  After Bailey's first session with Stacy, I was amazed at the difference!  Stacy had her undivided attention and Bailey was learning her commands with amazing speed.  It is apparent that Stacy loves what she does and she is very good at it.  I would recommend her to anyone who needs dog training.

She was a delight to work with and very knowledgeable about dog behavior.  Thank you Stacy for making our little Bailey such a fun and well-behaved puppy!  We look forward to taking some group classes with you so she will be as good in social settings as she is around the house."

"My husband and I had our heart set on a Boxer puppy.  We became somewhat reluctant after reading a book on the breed which stated that this type of dog requires a great deal of work and is "high energy."  Despite our reservations, we purchased a beautiful male boxer.

Although "Max" is brilliant and we worked with him at a local training class, it quickly became apparent to everyone who knows us, that Max was successfully training us rather than learning from us.

We hired Stacy and within 4 lessons the improvement was so obvious that family friends commented upon it.  Our unruly, smart boy is now well disciplined and anxious to please.  He enjoys the "work" we do and looks forward to training sessions.  He would have been a good dog without Stacy, but with her help he is a delight!"

"For several years I had been trying to convince my husband to adopt a Golden Retriever from
GRRT.  Finally, he agreed and we began the lengthy screening process through the Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas.  At my insistence we had to have a little girl.  After many months of waiting an 8 month old female came into the rescue after being found wandering the streets of Denton.

As a requirement for adoption the potential parents must meet the dog to see if there is a "match".  Upon my arrival to meet "Sarah" I was greeted by a soaking wet dog who was running full speed at me with no intention of stopping....let's just say my shirt was thoroughly drenched after the experience!

Almost immediately we fell in love with her big brown eyes and her goofy personality.  We were warned that she had no formal training and her interaction with humans was limited.  Naaa, we thought....we can handle this!!

After several weeks of chewed furniture, cat chasing, shredding of all paper goods in the house we were in need of help.  This is where Stacy Hiebert came into our lives.  She evaluated Sarah and told us she was a diamond in the rough.  After "1" session with Stacy Sarah was sitting on command and waiting at the door on command.  The progress only increased as the sessions continued.  We were amazed at the transformation in our baby!

After our training was completed it was nice to see that Stacy was still available for our questions and concerns about Sarah.  To this day we would not have the dog that we have without the assistance of Stacy's training.  We cannot recommend her services enough!!"

"Stacy is instantly likeable – both by the client and the dog!  She is an extremely proficient and confident dog trainer who – almost instantly – turned our over-zealous, jumping, leash-pulling Yellow Lab into an obedient and tolerable member of the family!

Whether your dog needs “basic training” or is on your last [barking] nerve, I would highly recommend her services.  While Stacy certainly helped convert Rex into a canine gentleman, what she really did was train
us on how to get Rex to listen – and learn for good.  For lack of a better phrase, I’ve nicknamed her the “dog whisperer”!"

"I can't say enough about how Stacy has helped us with my 17 month old, Old English Sheepdog mix!  She has taken this gentle giant that was easily excited from instantly jumping on people and just not listening to a much more mellow and focused puppy!

Stacy has the ability, patience, love and knowledge to train any puppy or dog for all your needs- just short of 'em bathing themselves!!  Thanks so much for all your training, Stacy."

"I have two terriers, so they are not the usual "happy to please you" type of dogs.  Very smart, very stubborn, with minds of their own.  I am also extremely particular about how they are treated - always with love and care and kindness.

Stacy's incredible patience was there, even when mine wasn't.  Stacy's techniques really work, and work in a positive, no-nonsense kind of way.  She is just amused by the quirkiness of both my dogs, which only increases my trust in her. I would highly recommend her training
I often do!

"Stacy, we wanted to thank you for all of your help with Sasha. She seems much happier now than before we started  training and other people notice it now too! When we adopted her from the SPCA she was very timid and scared of many people (especially children) and other dogs. You could tell that she had some abuse or something terrible that had happened to her in her past. Her hair would stand up on the back of her neck and she would get very defensive/aggressive around other dogs.

She is very smart and has a working dog nature to her and we weren't sure how to keep her stimulated in a way that would satisfy her mentally. She had special needs and we didn't want to lump her into a class of other dogs at Pet Smart since they wanted to keep her segregated from the rest of the class because of her issues with other dogs.

Since starting training with you, she has become very social with other dogs. She has made many new dog friends in the neighborhood, loves training, and learning new tricks, and is much better around children! She seems happiest when we are giving her a job to do (which we didn't know how or what to do before), and she loves to please us!  Your training goes beyond just teaching the dog a few commands, it taught us how to communicate with and teach our dog! Thank you!"

"Not only has training helped us to let our dog, Miguel, know who is running the house, but it also has helped Miguel to know how to communicate with us.  Miguel has trained with Stacy from puppy-hood to Canine College and we cannot imagine a life without us all having the communication skills we've learned through Stacy's training.  Not only has it paid off with better behavior, but most importantly, it was doggone good fun!"

"I wasn't looking for a new dog in my life, but when I happened upon a red and white pit bull mix one day while out for a walk, I knew things were about to change. It turns out that the little guy was a Hurricane Katrina survivor who was chewing his new caretaker out of house and home. I couldn't resist his plea and a few days later, he was mine.

I thought since my own dogs were fairly well behaved that they would pass that along to Finn...boy was I wrong. My eldest dog became very aggressive towards our newest pack member and there were frequent WWF sessions being held in my living room.

I decided to enroll Finn in obedience classes which helped him with some issues, but as soon as we got home and around my other dogs again, any training went out the window.

I finally found Stacy's name on a web search and invited her out to analyze my crew. From the moment she walked in the door, I knew I had to hire her.
While it took us longer to complete the training than most people, I had lots to work on in between sessions (mind you with three dogs). I can't even begin to tell you the changes that have come about in my household.

While Lexy used to despise Finn (or so I thought), she now adores him. They follow each other around all day long and play together. The wrestling matches are few and far between and I can actually watch TV again! I wish I had know about Stacy before bringing Finn home, but better late than never.
We are now a well adjusted and happy pack."

I feel like I understand my dog better. Is he a competitive obedience trial candidate? No. However, he is a much better member of the household than he was prior to working with Stacy.

Maverick's behavior has improved ten-fold since working with Stacy. His favorite activity is our daily neighborhood walk, and thanks to Stacy's patience and understanding of his goofy brain, I can make it around the neighborhood without being unceremoniously pulled in his wake. Her continued advice and support is also greatly appreciated!

"It was so helpful to have someone come to the house, listen to what is really going on with us, and help us to come up with solutions for problem behaviors. It is also great to be able to contact you by e-mail and phone for help when things come up.

Thanks, Stacy, for all your help with the boys. I get compliments on how much calmer and better behaved they are all the time. You helped us to move from very frustrating behaviors to dogs we could be proud of!"

On passing her certification to become one of our Paws Partners (therapy dog teams):

"Just wanted to shoot a quick email to express how much Geeno and I have enjoyed you.   I bragged on you last night to Jorge as he hugged Geeno to pieces.  I think I have shared this with you before...............my husband, Jorge, has wanted this for us for a very long time.  If you think I'm proud, you should witness his pleasure.   Thanks Stacy for all the good times and just so you know, Geeno, Jorge and I look forward to a long lasting relationship.

Kudos to you and Misty for all your efforts and extremely hard work.   It can sometimes go unnoticed."

"We sure had a great time on Saturday with Lucy, all her training seems to be really paying off.  She LOVED the Tracking Class so we're very anxious to keep working with her and learn more techniques.  I think she's really going to be a happier, better behaved dog when we can start really utilizing her natural skills and abilities more. . . ."
