Therapy Dog Prep
This is one of the most rewarding activities you can do
with your furry family member. Therapy work involves you
& your canine visiting hospitals & schools, so that you can reach out to others &
put smiles on faces!
In this class you will teach your dog the manners,
skills & know-how it takes to become a therapy dog.
After completion of this class we will be able to
evaluate your dog & let you know if your dog is in fact
a great candidate for therapy work.

We will prep & test dogs at the end of this
course to receive their
Canine Good Citizen®
(CGC) award. However,
please note the CGC is not an official certification for
your dog's therapy dog career. Upon completion of the
class & after receiving your CGC, we advise that
you take
our therapy dog certification test* through our
non-profit therapy dog organization—Paws
Partners, Inc..
*Our
Paws Partners, Inc. certification is not affiliated with
any of the following: Delta Society, Therapy Dogs Inc.
or Therapy Dogs International. We have designed
our own certification & testing process through Paws
Partners, Inc. & will offer insurance to all members
(just as the other listed organizations do).
